The banana jack test station is specialized equipment used in cathodic protection (CP) systems to detect the potential and current of structures such as pipelines and storage tanks. Functionally similar to traditional test posts, it innovatively integrates banana plug interfaces. Testers do not need to open the box or use a key; they simply insert the multimeter probes into the externally reserved standard jacks to quickly and accurately read data such as on-potential, off-potential, and current density.
The internal terminals feature reliable connections, and the external jacks are equipped with dustproof and waterproof covers. This design completely avoids hazards common in traditional open-box testing, such as water ingress and loose connections, greatly improving inspection efficiency and operational safety. It is an ideal tool for modern cathodic protection monitoring.
