A spark gap is a device designed to handle over-voltage conditions by allowing electrical discharge between two electrodes when the voltage exceeds a certain threshold. It provides a protective measure by conducting excess voltage away from sensitive components. We offer both vulcanized rubber-encased spark gaps and SS316L metal-encased spark gaps, depending on client preference. Both types can be installed directly onto the insulation flange for lightning protection.
