The permanent Cu/CuSO₄ reference electrode is designed for long-term buried monitoring. A copper rod in saturated copper sulfate solution forms a stable reversible potential (+0.318 V vs. SHE). With a pressure-resistant, waterproof housing, it works with coupons and acquisition modules to provide a reliable potential reference for CP systems.
